A further 2 races on the last day of the 2006 King Power Raceboard World Championships.   Patrik Pollak  (SVK 1) seemed to have an unnassailable lead going into the last day of the championships – and a first place in Race 9 was enough to secure the championships and the World Title.[more]

However the battle was really on between Riccardo Giordano (ITA 12) and Sam Wong (HKG 11) for second place.  There was nothing between them in todays two races – it was close right to the finish of both races.  Riccardo emerged the victor and also first master in this years championship.

Navin Singsart (THA 20) finished the regatta strongly with two fifth places today.  He was second in he lightweight division and first youth in the championship.

Napalai Tansai (THA 4) finished first woman despite not being able to race today, as both she and Arun Homraruen (THA 9) were on their way to compete for Thailand in the Asian Games.  We wish them well.

The Prize Giving Dinner takes place tonight at Northpoint, courtesy of Raimon Land Co.  Guest of honour will be Khun Piriyapandh Thaisuriyo representing King Power Group of Companies, the title sponsor of this year’s championship.
