FACILITIES: Albaria Club will offer free accommodation for two boys and one woman of the first 10 Nations who enter by 30th April 2007; Albaria Club will offer free accommodation for the first 5 coach who come to Mondello with their own coach boat. Besides, special travel facilities will be available for competitors coming from foreign countries according to their racing results.
Requests for support shall be sent to Albaria Club. The Organizing Authority will consider all requests and will reply by E-mail or fax, indicating special budgets or possible reimbursements of parts of the travel expenses.
It is possible to fly to Palermo Sicily via Paris, London, Berlin, Tunis, Venice, Bologna, Genova, Milan or Rome using normal scheduled airlines; you can reach Mondello by air (Punta Raisi airport Palermo – 20 Km away from Mondello or Catania airport – 200 km. away from Mondello), by ferry from Genoa, Livorno, Napoli or Cagliari, by train to Palermo Central Station.
This Windsurfing competition, is part of the WORLD FESTIVAL ON THE BEACH 2007.
This event attracts enormous media throughout the world and is a good chance to promote the image of WINDSURFING and SAIL as real Sports.
