Two days of no wind has meant no racing. However, the organisers have ensured competitors have been entertained with a climbing contest on inflatable ISOLINE wall, presentation of JetSurf, paddleboarding, [more]a barbecue in the party tent and with a lucky dip, the main prize being a JetSurf . . . and much more.

Day 2 for racing began with an early skippers meeting at 08.30.  The forecast delivered by the Principal Race Office, Jan Blahonovsky, was not encouraging – little or no wind was today’s likely conditions, and it was exactly what we got!

However, the organisers were not complacent and offered a series of SUP races in the afternoon with the support of one of the many sponsors lined up for this event.

Many thanks to Patrik Hrdina and Jan Rott, representing the Paddle Shop Praha (Prague) for the equipment and expertise.

The PRO decided to call an end to the wait for racing at 1700; and sailors were released for the day to go and prepare for the Wine Tasting Evening, to be followed by the Raceboard Class Annual General Meeting. Another full day here at the World Championships on Nove Mlyny, Pavlov, in the Czech Republic!

Skippers meeting tomorrow at 09.00 and first possible warning signal at 10.00.
