In just over two weeks, from the 13th to 19th of September, the bay of Cadiz, which is best known for international regattas like the Andalusian Olympic Week and the New Years Race, will welcome Raceboard sailors from all around the continent.[more]
The 2015 Raceboard European Championships will be hosted from the Andalucian Sailing Federation Centre, Puerto Sherry, in the beautiful Spanish city of El Puerto de Santa Maria.

Sailing conditions on the spot have been appreciated in the past by many coaches and sailors, as EL Puerto is the winter training destination for many national windsurfing teams. Statistics show that we can expect around 6>8 knots of wind on the racecourse with average temperatures of around 26 deg. centigrade. These are however average measurements and stronger breezes can appear during the event.

Around 60 competitors are expected to register and compete for the European titles, with some well known names such as the Blinnikka family from Finland and local Paco Manchon already having entered for the event.

15 races are planned at the regatta with the regatta being valid after 3. A maximum 4 races per day can be sailed.

See you all in EL Puerto de Santa Maria!
