The Raceboard class has brought its most prestigious event to the shores of Queensland, Australia, for the first time.  Australia has for many years laid claim to one of the largest national Raceboard fleets in the world and its members are regular travellers to Europe to take part in the annual Class World Championships.[more]

Now it is the turn of Windsurfing Queensland and the Australian Windsurfing Association to host the rest of the world at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Manly, Brisbane.
Over 80 competitors have travelled to these shores from all over Australia, from Europe and South America and, from closer to home, a strong New Zealand contingent. 12 countries drawn from 3 continents were represented at the opening ceremony that took place today.
Racing will take place over the next 5 days – Monday to Friday – with a maximum 15 races to determine the 2016 World Champion.
The racing will be tracked live via TracTrac.
