On the 8th of December the Raceboard Class AGM took place online and I would like to update you on what the Class has planned for 2022.

 

Class Rules

 

Following the AGM the 2022 Class Rules have been approved by World Sailing and include some housekeeping changes along with the (previously approved) change allowing Vetaran sailors to register three sails at Raceboard Championships

 

2022 Championships

 

Three major championships are now confirmed for 2022. 

 

18-23 February

Raceboard European Championships

Vilamoura, Portugal

23-29 May

Raceboard World Championships

Balaton, Hungary

12-16 October

Raceboard Masters World Championship

Campione del Garda, Italy

Most noteworthy the early bird entry fee for the European Championships closes on January 3rd and if the entry number does not exceed 20 participants by 5th February, the event may be cancelled. In case of a cancelation the entry fee will be refunded. 

 

We already have a group of keen sailors, who look forward to the event so register through the event websiteand enjoy an early start to the racing season.
