The 2026 Raceboard European Championships in Monsaraz, Portugal concluded after eight races sailed over six days of competition, bringing together 38 competitors from across Europe and beyond.

Portugal’s João Rodrigues delivered a dominant performance throughout the regatta, winning the overall title with six race victories and a net score of just 8 points after the discard. Spain’s Alexander Buchau secured second place overall, while fellow Spaniard Alex Rivera completed the podium in third.

The women’s title went to Spain’s Maria del Mar Perez de la Lastra, who finished 25th overall and claimed first female honours after a consistent championship in a strong mixed fleet. France’s Luun Mellou-Guegan finished as second female, with Spain’s Antonia Dominguez La Balilla taking third among the women.

The championship once again highlighted the diversity and endurance of the Raceboard class, with competitors ranging from U17 youth sailors to Super Legend categories competing together on the waters of Monsaraz in a demanding and varied series.
